Mission

L.I.F.E. 2.O mission is focused on men, women, and juveniles/at-risk youth who have been impacted by the prison system after long-term incarceration the opportunity to rebuild their lives by providing them the support, tools, and resources to re-enter society.

Snapshot – Founder’s Story Richard Richard

L.I.F.E. 2.0 is committed to supporting at-risk youth, youth/young adults in the juvenile system, and individuals who have experienced long-term incarceration in their journey to rebuild their lives.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has formally served this population for the past 2 years, with over 7 years of dedicated voluntary service.

At L.I.F.E. 2.0, we use a Trauma-Informed Care approach to empower at-risk youth and young adults, helping them avoid justice system involvement or successfully transition after incarceration.

The L.I.F.E. 2.O team consists of men and women who have personally navigated challenges like those faced by at-risk youth and young adults, including those currently incarcerated. We believe in balancing lived experience, lifestyle transformations, peer advocacy, and clinical education to provide comprehensive support through our programs.

In addition, our team is supported by a diverse group of clinicians, including social workers, substance abuse and mental health counselors, as well as life and health coaches.

Founder

Richard Richard

Richard Richard, Executive Director of L.I.F.E. 2.0, embodies transformation and redemption. After 43.5 years of incarceration, he returned with a vision to inspire change, particularly among youth and young adults in the juvenile/prison system.

 

L.I.F.E. 2.0 offers Trauma-Informed Care programs focused on Life Skills, Job Preparedness, Mental Health Support, Peer Support, Personal Development, Self-Care, and Family Reunification. These services address the unique challenges of those impacted by incarceration, guiding them toward restoration, readiness, and successful reintegration.

With a mission to empower lives through support, tools, and resources, L.I.F.E. 2.0 helps individuals heal, grow, and build pathways for lasting transformation.
